On July 29, 2017, CNNC Fuqing Nuclear Power Unit 4 was successfully connected to the grid for power generation, marking the full completion of the first phase of the Fuqing Nuclear Power Project. So far, Fujian has added another nuclear power operating unit, and the number of nuclear power operating units in mainland China has reached 37.
As a professional and intensive equipment supplier and service provider of nuclear power plant nuclear pumps, important non-nuclear pumps and other nuclear power industry chain equipment, Shanghai Apollo Machinery Co., Ltd. has provided Fuqing Unit 4 project with 2 auxiliary feed water steam pumps, 2 seawater circulation pumps, 2 auxiliary feed water electric pumps, 4 important auxiliary service water pumps, 2 steam conversion system feed water pumps and other equipment. Among them, Shanghai Apollo Machinery Co., Ltd., Hangzhou Steam Turbine Co., Ltd., and China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd. jointly developed the first fully self-designed and manufactured auxiliary water steam pump, which has been officially put into operation after on-site commissioning.
After being connected to the grid, Fuqing Unit 4 will enter the state of on-load trial operation, and continue to carry out load test, transient test and other related projects for the final sprint of commercial operation.
