Shanghai Municipal Government and China National Nuclear Corporation on June 24, 2015 in Shanghai signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement. CNNC is a large state-owned enterprise directly managed by the central government and the main force for the development of China's nuclear power industry. Shanghai is China's nuclear power industry, an important base for the development of Shanghai's equipment manufacturing enterprises, scientific research institutions have been working to serve the national nuclear power development. According to the strategic cooperation framework agreement, the two sides will focus on cooperation in the following areas: First, to strengthen industrial finance cooperation. CNNC will jointly establish the domestic nuclear energy industry fund and overseas nuclear power investment fund, establish the settlement platform for foreign exchange funds of the Group and explore new business; secondly, carry out research and development and industrialization of advanced nuclear energy technology. CNNC will rely on the technological superiority of Shanghai nuclear power equipment manufacturing and R & D to absorb all parties to build up the advanced nuclear power equipment technology industry alliance and strengthen the cooperation in some advanced technology research fields. Third, vigorously develop the headquarters economy. Shanghai Municipal Government will actively support China Nuclear Group to establish the second headquarters of the Group, to build regional headquarters economy. The next five years, the nuclear group will Shanghai as an important strategic development of the Group's layout, and further increase investment and cooperation. The two sides will also continue to expand new areas of cooperation.
