On the morning of November 17, 2017, Shao Bixiu, deputy manager of the Safety and Quality Assurance Department of China Nuclear Engineering Co., Ltd., and his party carried out a shock education on nuclear safety culture in our company. Manager Shao Bixiu started from four aspects: "the working principle of nuclear power plant, the contribution of my supply equipment to nuclear power plant, the intrinsic safety of nuclear power plant, the latest situation and requirements, combined with the projects of Hongyanhe 5 and 6 units LOT134Bb low-pressure safety pump and containment spray pump, LOT134Ac auxiliary feed water steam pump supply, main feed water pump and start-up feed water pump of LOT42Aa regular island, LOT123C (spent fuel storage grid) and LOT24A circulating water pump of 3-4 units, LOT134Ac emergency feed water pump of 4 units and LOT134Bd low-pressure safety pump of 4 units in Fangchenggang project, which are currently being implemented by our company, these project package equipment are respectively explained in simple terms in the layout position, function and importance of the normal operation of the secondary and tertiary circuits of the nuclear power plant.
Our company's personnel participating in this meeting include product managers, QA managers, QC managers, executive managers and department managers. Through this training and study, we have personally realized the importance of nuclear power pump equipment undertaken by the company in the nuclear power plant system. Nuclear safety is everyone's responsibility. Everyone should do a good job in daily work and do the right thing at once, which is the best interpretation of nuclear safety culture.
In the on-site interactive session, Manager Shao explained the latest situation and requirements of quality and safety management in the country. On September 5, 2017, the state issued the guiding opinions of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on carrying out quality improvement actions. The programmatic document on quality work issued in the name of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council is the first time in the history of quality development in China, which is of great milestone significance. From August 28 to September 1, 2017, the Standing Committee of the Twelfth National People's Congress held its 29th meeting and deliberated and voted on the the People's Republic of China Nuclear Safety Law. Participants were warned that from the analysis of 16 administrative penalties issued by the National Nuclear Safety Administration in 2017, the national nuclear safety supervision standards are higher, the requirements are stricter, and the attitude is more resolute. All personnel involved in nuclear power equipment activities are not allowed to try the law.
The training activity ended with warm applause, which further enhanced the legal awareness of our employees to abide by the nuclear safety law, and strengthened the regulatory requirements that the company's front-line employees must strictly follow the "four everything" and "nuclear power is no small matter". To carry out the law-abiding behavior of daily work, the construction of nuclear safety culture is always on the road, and we must always pay attention to it!
