"Understanding" nuclear facilities quality assurance training

On July 1, 2017, Shen Jinzuo, a senior expert on nuclear power safety, was invited to Shanghai Apollo Machinery Co., Ltd. for special training on nuclear facility quality assurance. The training started punctually at 9 a.m. in the workshop training center. The company's general manager, deputy general manager, department managers, supervisors and quality assurance system personnel participated in the training.
Mr. Shen first introduced the definition of quality assurance of nuclear facilities in a simple and profound way, and combined with the actual situation, stressed that we should trace the source and "understand" the requirements of laws and regulations in order to achieve our goal.
For the nuclear power quality assurance regulations HAF003, Mr. Shen asked us a question: why HAF003 has 13 chapters? Through this question, once again illustrates the importance of "understanding", HAF003 chapters layer by layer, interlocking, complement each other, is an organic whole. Then Shen Lao explained in detail the chapters of HAF003, including document control, design control, procurement control, item control, process control, etc., all of which reflected his unique insights. What moved us even more was that Mr. Shen, who was in his twenties, stood and lectured to us all morning and was very dedicated.
Finally, Mr. Shen made a detailed analysis and explanation of some specific problems raised by our staff, and once again stressed that "understanding" is a practical methodology for us to achieve quality assurance of nuclear facilities.
