CNNC is a large state-owned enterprise directly under the central government and the main force in the development of China's nuclear power industry. Shanghai is an important base for the development of China's nuclear power industry. Shanghai's equipment manufacturing enterprises and scientific research institutions have been working hard to serve the development of the country's nuclear power industry. According to the strategic cooperation framework agreement, the two sides will focus on the following aspects of cooperation: first, strengthen cooperation in the field of industrial finance. CNNC will work with relevant enterprises in Shanghai to set up domestic nuclear energy industry funds and overseas nuclear power investment funds, establish a settlement platform for the group's foreign exchange funds, and explore emerging businesses; second, carry out research and development and industrialization of advanced nuclear energy technology. China National Nuclear Corporation will rely on the technical advantages of Shanghai nuclear power equipment manufacturing and research and development, absorb all forces to jointly establish an advanced nuclear power equipment technology industry alliance, and increase cooperation in some advanced technology research fields; third, vigorously develop the headquarters economy. The Shanghai Municipal Government will actively support the establishment of the second headquarters of the China National Nuclear Corporation and build a regional headquarters economy. In the next five years, CNNC will take Shanghai as an important strategic layout for the group's development and further increase investment cooperation. The two sides will continue to expand new areas of cooperation.
Leaders of the Municipal Development and Reform Commission, the Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, the Municipal Finance Office, the Municipal Science and Technology Commission, the Municipal Nuclear Power Office, Shanghai Electric Group, Shanghai Shenergy Group and China National Nuclear Corporation attended the signing ceremony.
